NARFE Membership Dues and Dues Distribution

New Member

First year: $33. Chapter of assignment receives $11. 

Second year and thereafter:  $29 + chapter dues of record.

New Member Sign Up Bonus Chapter 1002 will pay for one year of a member’s Chapter Dues ($10) for each current member who signs up a new member until the money runs out.  The Chapter already pays for the first meeting meal ($13) for all new members.

Dues Withholding

Annually: $24.60 ($2.05 per month from your annuity check) + chapter dues of record/12. 

Dues Withholding Sign up Bonus.  Chapter 1002 will pay for one year of a member’s Chapter Dues ($10) for every member that submits a Dues Withholding form at a Chapter meeting until the money runs out. 

The form also will be forwarded to the Federation Dues Withholding Chair so it will be eligible for the Federation Dues Withholding Contest that provides $200 to the winner, and $50 each to the runner up and second runner up.   You must submit the form at a Chapter meeting to earn this bonus.

Annually Renewing Member (Multi-year Membership)

One year:  $29 + one year chapter dues of record. Chapter receives one year dues of record.

Two years:  $52 + two years chapter dues of record. Chapter receives two years dues of record.

Three years:  $74 + three years chapter dues of record. Chapter receives three years dues of record.

Annual Chapter dues

Each NARFE chapter sets its own annual dues to assure its proper operation. 

Chapter 1002 has annual dues of $10 per year.  If you are on dues withholding, it is $9.96/12 each month.

Note that Dues Withholding is always the least expensive alternative!
